Gricelle Cruz

Secretary

Gricelle Cruz was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, and resides in Amherst, Massachusetts. She completed university studies at the Colegio Regional de Bayamón, University of Puerto Rico, where she obtained an Associate's Degree in Secretarial Sciences. She served as a Sergeant in the United States Army, Signal Corps (Communications), and received the Army Achievement Medal for outstanding performance. Gricelle is a musician and enjoys singing and playing guitar, ukulele, and minor percussion instruments. She coordinates the "Hágase” (Be it Done) Music Ministry with her two sisters and mother and serves in various churches and organizations. She is an Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist and Lector (Proclaimer of the Word). In 2023, she earned her Certificate in Hispanic Ministry from Our Lady of the Elms College, Chicopee, MA. Her relationship with AMPHE began when she attended the V Conference in Huntington, NY. Since then, she has been a faithful conference attendee, collaborating at the registration table and behind the scenes. Gricelle is the AMPHE Board of Directors’ Secretary since November 2023.
